The Kentucky Beverage Wholesalers Association (KBWA) has been the voice for the state’s beer, wine and spirits wholesaler and distributor industry since 1945. Our mission is to provide leadership and service for our members through a favorable economic, social and legislative environment.

Membership

Our members operate in communities across the commonwealth and play an important role in ensuring consumer access to an impressive array of fresh, safe and reliably consistent products on retail store shelves and in their favorite bars, restaurants and other venues.

Advocacy

We are dedicated to educating policymakers, licensees and the public about the societal value of the current three-tier system in regulating the manufacturing, independent distribution and retail sale of alcoholic beverages.

ALCOHOL WELLNESS AND RESPONSIBILITY EDUCATION (AWARE)

The AWARE initiative — a partnership between KBWA, Kentucky Distillers’ Association and the Kentucky Malt Beverage Council — strives to educate young adults on the dangers of the underage consumption of alcohol.
